You’ll be counting fish instead of sheep when you spend an unforgettable night at Georgia Aquarium. Come sea our amazing aquatic animals with a night filled of excitement and exploration. All of our memorable sleepovers include admission to the Aquarium at 6:45pm the day of your sleepover, as well as the entire next day. Not to mention you will get access to all presentations, a bedtime snack, a complimentary breakfast, guided tours and activities as well as the best sleeping spot in front of one of our captivating gallery windows. Come dive into your sleeping bag for a slumber party to remember.

Please Note:

  • Sleepovers are one of our most popular programs. Availability is very limited, so please secure your reservation as far in advance as possible. 
  • Minimum age requirement for sleepovers, unless otherwise specified (i.e. middle school, adult) is 7 years old.
  • Large groups should have a 1 to 10 adult to child ratio at minimum.
  • Any guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult of 21 years of age or older.
  • Adult sleepovers have a minimum age of 21+.
  • If sleepovers do not reach a minimum of 25 guests, the program may be cancelled. If this happens, you will be notified two weeks prior to your event.

  • Groups and Families

    Explore the Aquarium in a brand-new way as our world-class tour guides take your group on an adventure through the deep waters of the ocean and its coral reefs, focusing on our aquatic animals and habitats and what you can do to help preserve these wonderful resources. Wake up next to one of our amazing animal habitats before any other guests arrive and enjoy the aquarium free of charge for the day after your program. This program is designed to be adaptable for all group types, from age 7 to adults.

  • Adults Only

    Explore the Aquarium for a night under the sea without the kids as our world-class tour guides take your group on an adventure through the deep waters of the ocean and its coral reefs, focusing on our aquatic animals, habitats, and what you can do to help preserve these wonderful resources. This program is an adult-only event, ages 21+.

    This sleepover IS NOT in conjunction with our Sips Under the Sea Nights and DOES NOT include drink tickets & tickets for tapas but DOES INCLUDE a bedtime snack & breakfast for guests.

  • Adults + Sips

    For an interesting way to relax in a fun, easy-going social setting, try Sips Under the Sea —our 21 and over cocktail event — and wake up next to our world-class exhibits. Our combo ticket includes one VIP entry to the Sips Under the Sea event and one overnight stay at Georgia Aquarium.

    This sleepover is in conjunction with our Sips Under The Sea event and includes our VIP Level ticket experience, you get to spend the night! Admission for this event begins at 7:00 pm.

  • Scouts

    In this nighttime adventure, students will gaze at the silhouette of our whale sharks and marvel at the majestic nature of manta rays, while exploring the physical and biological components of the ocean. Students will participate in behind-the-scenes tours and many other Aquarium adventures.

  • Does the Georgia Aquarium provide showers for Sleepover guests?

    Showers are not available during our overnight events.

  • Do you have a Program Handbook for my Sleep Under the Sea sleepover?

    Yes!  You can view or download a copy of the handbook here.  The link to this handbook is included in your confirmation email after you’ve purchased your sleepover.

  • Can I buy shirts that look like the ones staff wears?

    Georgia Aquarium is glad to offer a variety of branded apparel in our gift shops, however we do not sell Aquarium team member uniforms. For the safety of our guests, team and animals, it is important that we are always able to discern between members of the public and Georgia Aquarium staff and volunteers.

  • Where Do Guests Sleep?

    As our guests, you will have the opportunity to sleep in front of one of our magnificent exhibits in galleries such as:

  • Can I Request a Sleeping Area?

    We cannot guarantee sleeping locations. Assignments are made after all guests have checked in, and are based upon the group make-up, size and needs. Additionally, partial or entire galleries may be unavailable due to other activities and/or animal care taking place.

  • What Is the Minimum Age Allowed?

    Minimum age requirement for sleepovers, unless otherwise specified (i.e. middle school, adult) is 7 years old. Any guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult of 21 years of age or older. Adult sleepovers have a minimum age of 21+.

  • When Is Payment Due?

    All sleepovers must be reserved and paid in full at least 30 days before the desired sleepover date.

  • How Soon Should We Reserve Spots?

    Sleepovers sell out fast! We encourage all guests to make reservations at least one month in advance.

  • What Meals Are Included?

    Please be advised that all Sleepovers WILL NOT include dinner but will include a bedtime snack and a breakfast option. Coastline Café will be open daily until 30 minutes before Aquarium closes for guests wishing to purchase food before their sleepover. Large groups are encouraged to plan ahead and purchase café vouchers in advance for $13 each.
